Catering to a mix of tourists from around the world and local Ticos, Manuel Antonio / Quepos has a host of options to meet the nocturnal needs of visitors and residents. There are a variety of places to enjoy live music, a game of billiards, dance, and even a couple of places to try your gaming luck at one of the casinos.
Discos are becoming almost as common in Manuel Antonio as the capuchin monkeys and you’ll find several places to hit the dance floor here. Popular spots throughout the week include dance club Republik in Quepos, Ape (delicious appetizers, music and cool atmosphere), The Fringe and Selina Hotel (various music/djs nightly and karaoke).
If you fancy some live music you’re in luck! There is a great mix of local bands, Djs and solo artists that perform on various nights throughout the week. Some popular spots include Hotel La Colina, Drunken Monkey, Buru Restaurant, Hotel Plinio, Bambu Jam, Si Como No, and Hotel Barba Roja.
Adding to the after dark fun are the two casinos: one at the Hotel Kamuk in Quepos and the other at Hotel Byblos in Manuel Antonio. Both have small casinos (Hotel Kamuk is the larger of the two) with various slot machines and table options including blackjack and roulette.
